| "Dancer" lives up to her name. She has her mother's long pasterns, resulting in a float-above-the-air gait and smooth moves. She is TRIPLE bred Doc Bar on her sire's side and Skipper W on her dam's side. She's a great granddaughter of the incomparable Skipa Star. Her sire is the sire of a current cutting champ "To Stylish Windy" and this girl has COWY written all over her. Built like a tank, beautiful and smart. She has great sense, and watches everything. She is my shadow on the ranch, and heels me! She will be dynamite to do anything athletic and then put her in the broodmare band for awesome babies. She is a deep red, two white socks and a whimsical, wavy blaze that looks like her in personality: Curious, questioning, smart, and funny. She's got a great sense of play and a bit of her mom's arrogance. Her mother is our herd mare and Dancer will be a herd mare too. She has a slight "I'm above it all" attitude and you will have to earn her allegiance, she is independent, but sweet and loving. She is coming two in Spring 2010. She clips, ties, loads,halters, is good with her feet, and wants to learn. She lunges at all gaits and spins on a dime. We'll be picky about where this girl goes because we'd be happy to keep her here, but she deserves to be a performance horse! Breeding does NOT GET ANY BETTER than this Skipper W and Doc Bar cross! Beauty, brains, talent, athleticism and a willing, calm temperament. |
